 Statement Sleeve Sweater for Fall

SKIRT: ZARA, similar HERE, also love THIS one for petites | SWEATER | BERET | MULES

A couple of mysterious white specks somehow landed on this ruffle-sleeve sweater when I wore it. Note to self, always carry a mini lint roller. Specks aside though, I love this sweater because, SLEEVES. The sleeves are so good. This sweater has just the best weight to it - so soft and warm and just, cozy. And it's under $35 so it's super budget friendly. It comes in white as well and will be a frequently used item in my closet for the Fall.

I've shopped several things from the Who What Wear collection this year including this striped sweater layered over a floral slip-dress, which you can see in this post. Hard to go wrong at this price and it's such an affordable way to experiment with trendier pieces. I also love this blouse from the collection - how pretty is this emerald ruffle top

Pleated midi skirts are my wardrobe bread and butter. My collection keeps growing each season since you can wear them all year around. Every few months I resolve not to buy any more of them because who needs 15 pleated midis but I apparently I do because I can't stop buying them in new colors. This particular shade of yellow has always been one of my favorites. Gold and mustard are two other yellows I've always been obsessed with. This midi skirt is from Zara and currently only available in XS. A couple of similar options I also love: this gold velvet pleated number, as well as this sunny yellow midi from Endless Rose.

Cute, warm sweaters are what Fall is all about. This year I'm adding more solid colors to balance out the many prints and colors I usually wear. Here are a few of my current favorites in sweaters:

1. This ruffle sleeve sweater is very similar to the one I'm wearing here. The main differences are that this one is more fitted if you're very slender or looking for a less voluminous look, the sleeves are cuffed at the wrist versus bell, and that it comes in 4 really pretty color options. This sweater is also now on sale for $55 with 40% off (use code YAYCLOTHES). So the price is really, really good. I bought grey and also really love the green. And for sizing, it runs a tiny bit big so I went with XXS, which allows for a light layer underneath.

2. Last week I grabbed this sweater with cross-over back detail and a little peekaboo action. It comes in 6 different colors - my favorites are the Savannah Moss, Highland Green and Heather Dovetail.

3. I also love this tie-cuff option in burnished mahogany for a little extra touch of pretty (runs true to size, I got XXS). And for a neutral sweater look, I love this dove grey fitted and ruffled silhouette. Scroll down for more...

4. I missed the boat on this perfect Fall stripe sweater in the prettiest colors unfortunately but hopefully your size is still available! Fingers crossed they restock all sizes because it's the cutest.

5. And this ruffle Sezanne sweater gives me all the holiday feels...I'm grabbing this one now for a little pop of color under my heavy duty down puffer when November hits. It's currently available in all sizes.

My suede mustard mules are Sam Edelman from a couple of years ago - on their last legs. I linked a very similar neutral brown pair in the scroll bar below. I also love these yellow statement satin loafers to add character to any outfit, though they will clearly be shelved when the snow hits.

Here's a winter look with this outfit, complete with a leopard print coat - only $129, which is awesome.
