OUTFIT DETAILS: DRESS | BAG | similar BOOTIES HERE (under $150)

Hi guys! Just a quick post today. I wanted to share this ruffled midi dress with you since it's perfect for Fall. If you read my floral dress round-up a couple of weeks ago you know that I consider myself to be a true connoisseur of florals! Floral prints are getting major play this year and since they're universally flattering I'm 100% behind it - except that my closet is slowly really turning into a giant floral fest...PS: Scroll down all the way to the bottom if you're looking for the link to the running shoes from my Instagram Story today...

This one is under $60 - you know I love that under $100 price point! The dark navy background, primary colors and tiny flowers all make the print less girly and more edgy. You can style this dress with booties for everyday comfort, switch it up to sneakers if you want a more casual look, or go with these super-cool Stella sneakers for more edge. White boots are big this season and this pair is quite a find under $40. The heel height makes it great for day wear.  If you're looking for something that can move easily into evening, these white patent booties for only $130 are beyond.

The dress runs a little bit big (wearing the XS for reference) so I had no option but to belt it. I also pulled the sleeves up for now but those sleeves are coming down in the next few weeks - perfect for layering under those itchy woolies! You might remember this suede kelly green belt from summer. I haven't had a chance to wear it since then and this was the perfect dress for it.

Isn't Boston so pretty? Had to include a pic of this cute little street. Wish I had time to roam the city endlessly and take pictures of each corner. I actually only realized how much I love architecture once I got on IG and noticed that so many of my posts were of buildings and houses.

Anyway, back to the outfit - my Marc Jacobs bag is old but I LOVE the new line and am eyeing this gorgeous bag for the office for Fall/Winter. And then this little calf-hair camera bag is totally just calling my name - so perfect for adding texture and interest to literally any outfit. I think more than the bag I love the guitar strap - it adds so much to an outfit. I was pretty excited to see these new guitar straps that are compatible with the Signet bag that you can see in my last post on how to put together cute outfits on a budget.

Adding on the running shoes from my Instagram Story today...the backstory isAfter years of living exclusively in heels, it's payback time apparently, so good running shoes are essential! I also have low arches so I've been looking specifically for a running shoe that offers a lot of support without being really stiff or feeling like you have a brick tied to your foot. So after reviewing a million sneakers, I've narrowed it down to two pairs of runners with excellent arch support - this pair in the black/pink peacock - they didn't have different color options in store but you can get them in the much cuter greyThis second pair is definitely cuter - love this orange/pink combo - but I haven't tried working out in them yet so if you're interested in my experience leave me a comment below and I can post a follow-up review.

Have a great week! xo
