DRESS: BANANA REPUBLIC | SCARF: sold out, also love THIS | TRENCH: J.CREW | SHOES: VINCE CAMUTO old, similar for less HERE | CLUTCH: FOREVER 21 (back is plain and is the side facing up in some of the images) | SUNGLASSES: sold out, also love THESE

Green is without a doubt one of the hottest colors of the season. I'll admit that this emerald/kelly green shade can be a little scary to wear but trust me that this is a truly a universally flattering hue. In any case, whether you live for bold tones or are happier with small pops of color, I've got you covered with 5 picks in this amazing color that you won't want to miss.

So, #1 on my Green List is not surprisingly this dress. Before I say anything else I have to say that I'm mystified by why this awesome wrap dress got 1 star in the online reviews (granted there was only one reviewer). I obviously had a completely different experience. The material is really soft and silky, the drape impeccable, and it's incredibly figure flattering. It's also 40% off the sale price today (April 25), which makes it around $40. Great price for such a well-made dress in a classic feminine style.

If you like brilliant jewel-tones you're probably already sold on this dress and everything else in this shade. If the color is a little too much for you, you can either try it in smaller doses (see my picks below), or you can easily temper it by layering over with a neutral as I did with my trench below. Adding a navy or white cardigan or blazer would also do the trick as both colors go beautifully with green and are quite conservative.

This scarf is one of my favorite accessories for Spring and unfortunately seems to have sold out online since I first posted it as a bag accessory. I've found this Tory Burch scarf which is a close dupe, which has boats instead of flowers - really perfect for a nautical or vacation look. Definitely keep an eye out for the Banana one in stores though because you never know and if you do find it it's bound to be marked down big time.

#2 on the list is this A-line eyelet shirt-dress, which will be popping up on the blog very soon I'm sure. Very flattering, perfect for spring and summer, and also comes in white (also under $100).

You might recognize my pineapple clutch from this post a couple of weeks ago. This little gem ($12) is still available online (as of when I'm writing this post) and as you can see, it's more versatile than you might think. I love to see how many outfits I can create around a single accessory and this pineapple bag is one that I haven't had much trouble wearing time and time again with different outfits.

Speaking of bags, #3 on my Green List is this gorgeous mini-drawstring bucket tote. I love the brogue details, double top handles, plus adjustable cross-body strap. The cutest ever and a great way to immediately make your wardrobe spring-ready.

My #4 pick are these gorgeous dangly tiered ball earrings that are all the rage right now (also comes in about 8 other colors if you're not yet sold on green!), and last but not least #5 are these adorable and bright tassel earrings that are guaranteed to make you smile - so cheerful!

Thanks for reading, hope you liked this Green post (which unfortunately had nothing to do with being environmentally-friendly) and happy shopping! xo
