tweed trousers, trousers, tweed, high-waisted, black suede pumps, oversize clutch, black body suit, asos work wear, leaf necklace, tom ford sunglasses, coffee
Just a short post to show these amazingly cute and comfortable tweed pants. This style is such an amazing work-wear option. It's polished and tailored but feels like you're wearing pajamas. Comfort is key for me so whenever I come across something that's stylish and comfortable, I'm buying it. I styled this in a very basic way here because I wanted the focus to be the pants but they would be so cute with lace-up sandals and a ruffle blouse too!

I can't say enough good things about these pants. If you're pear-shaped like me these are your go to pants for the office. The high-waist helps to elongate the legs big time. When I buy fast fashion things, like these pants, I always look at the quality and I'm happy to report that these are really well-stitched. They also drape very well.

Since I'm short I usually balance volume on the bottom with something close to the body on the top. I chose a plain black bodysuit, which I liked for this look because I wanted to show the waistline of the pants and was looking for a very flat silhouette at the waistband. In warmer weather a simple scoop neck T and a shrunken denim jacket would be a fun option for casual Friday at work.

The clutch is old and hard to find now. I noticed it on Amazon a few days ago but it sold out in a minute. I find I get a lot of use out of large clutches like this. An oversize clutch can be a great option for work if you don't need to carry a lot. I like to travel light so to speak so I tend to go with hand carried bags just as often as a work tote or top handle bag.

Thanks for reading and see you on the weekend with my next post!
